Standing still can be a lot of work, but making it a game makes it fun! Taz and I started with out with a hoop. Smart boy got this game in 20 minutes! We were able to move it out to the arena and play with standing still in a larger space without the hoop. The important thing was the feeling that we were still connected, no matter how far we were apart! ❤️
Finding Comfort in Touch ❤️ Taz is working on finding comfort in human touch. One of his spots he’s extra nervous about is his chest. We have been learning “touch it” with his nose, which is one of his favorite activities. (This helps build confidence) We switched the game up to now to be touch my hand with his chest. This gives him the choice and the power of having him touch my hand. 💪🏼 #thepowerofchoice

We are working on bringing back his confidence, his love for touch, feeling safe and not protecting his food.
